The Monterey Historical Society Ethnic Cultural Council celebrated Hartnell College's 80th Birthday on 2 October, 1999. The Village Dancers were invited to perform on the main stage, which was outfitted with a raised platform containing a moveable center (similar to a "Lazy Susan") - a Challenge for the Dancers!

As an angel blesses the performers, Don Morehead leads the dance called Zorba against a background of jagged peaks. Chuck Chernoff, Zorba, and Joanna Bonnell join in the joyful dance, while avoiding the unstable "lazy Susan" in the center of the platform!
